Drawing on the sonic character of vintage poly synths while embracing the Muse’s distinctive architecture, the collection aims to offer a fresh palette of sounds for contemporary music production.

A key focus of the sound design is the Muse’s Diffusion Delay, creatively utilised to introduce modulation effects including chorus and flanging. These treatments add movement, width and character, helping transform the core sounds into expressive, dimensional patches.

Rather than simply recreating familiar vintage tones, Super Poly Vol. 1 reflects Luke Million’s vision of creating sounds that stand apart from the classic polyphonic synthesizers in his own studio — while remaining practical and inspiring tools for other producers.

“My vision was to create unique presets for the Muse that would set it apart from all the classic Poly Synths I have in my studio. I wanted the presets to be inspiring and usable for other producers so they fit in a mix without too much massaging needed.”
